by Ananda Perwira on Jun.11, 2010, under technology, web hosting

There are a lot of providers that offers web hosting services for less than 10$ a month, some of them even offers the services for less than $ 2 a month. The big question:  is this kind of web hosting worthy and able to provide a reliable service for us? The answer maybe yes maybe no. Yes, no one can dispute the fact that it is hard to find a budgeted hosting provider that can provide comprehensive services, including customer support, features and protection. In fact, many customers complain the service of this web hosting due to its unresponsive customer support and poor anti spam guard. But do not despair, you can still find some of them that can meet all your desire to build a professional website.

When shopping for a budgeted hosting provider, you should take into consideration how well they define their features in their official website and how professional they provide responses to your inquiries either via phone, email or live chat. You can make a measurement tool and cross check what they have and what they don’t.

First of all, check the basic features that a web hosting should have, including toll-free number, uptime guarantee, money back guarantee, anti-spam guards, e-mail accounts, web analytics tools and web auto builders and web auto back-up. If one of them is unavailable or it does not come free of charge, think twice before you deal with that provider. (continue reading…)
